I only have one question to ask you both. Why did you target me and why did you vote me out first at the merge? Who's idea was it to vote me out first? Christy, you didn't even know me. Steve we are good friends and I never expected you to vote for me.

Hi Donna!

You have a very valid question since we hit the merge and *bam* you were voted out. I wouldn’t say YOU were a target per say. When we hit the merge, Camas came in with the numbers and wanted to keep it that way, of course. That meant we had to vote for someone from the Tygh tribe. The night we merged I had a conversation with Jason and found out that there were thoughts of you and Aryan having an alliance going. Which, if there’s an alliance, you of course want to break that up so no one from your own tribe flips to the alliance and creates a stronger one. And from the way it was described of how Dave left the game, it was perceived that you and Aryan might be threats. The following evening I had a strategy pow wow with Foster, and together we came to the conclusion we vote you out first, and if you won immunity, we would then vote for Aryan, either way – breaking up your alliance. Unfortunately, we had very little time from the day of the merge to the first vote. I had only a brief conversation with both you and Aryan, and longer conversations with Tom and Jason. Due to the information received from Jason, and the fact I had clicked so quickly with the two of them…. It led to the decision between you and Aryan. It just happened to be you that was chosen of the two which was backed up by feelings from the other Camas members.

I’m sorry if you felt like you were a target. It simply just came down to information received from your own tribe at the time, and needing to vote someone out from Tygh to keep our advantage.

I am glad you were able to be a replacement in the jury so I could answer the questions you had surrounding your leaving the tribe.

Well, I ultimately decided to go with my tribe on this vote because it made the most sense to me. I talked with you before the vote and at that time I was really between you and Aryan, and I pretty much knew you were gone no matter what I did. But one thing I remember talking to you about was the fact that I was interested in meeting the other three members of your tribe too, because I was interested to meet Tom and Jason more, and I had heard good things about Aryan, and ultimately I decided that we'd still have many more chances to talk after the game, but I wanted to meet new people. Of course, had I had the choice, I would have tried to keep you around, but it was the beginning of the merge and I was a little too scared to try and control our tribe's vote.
